Touré and Sergio to travel to Gijón

Josep Guardiola has recovered Touré and Sergio Busquets for Saturday’s game in Gijón. With Alves out through injury, the team is also missing the suspended Keita.


2010-01-29_ENTRENO_33.JPGFC Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola has had good and bad news today. He has found out he will be picking a side to play at the Molinón that will be missing Alves, but Sergio Busquets and Touré are in.

Jeffren was also given medical clearance today, although he has been training for some time with the first team. However, his name is not in the squad.

2010-01-29_ENTRENO_41.JPGTouré Yaya, who returned to Barcelona on Thursday, trained for the first time with Barça in 2010, as he has been away in Angola playing in the Nations Cup. With the Ivory Coast’s campaign over, he was given a hearty welcome back before training on Friday morning.

Touré has been selected, but there is no place for Keita, who picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Valladolid.

Sergio is back

2010-01-29_ENTRENO_20.JPGBarça can also welcome back Sergio Busquets from injury. The midfielder took a knock against Sevilla, and sat out Barça’s win over Valladolid.

Off to Gijón on Saturday

The players will be flying to Gijón on Saturday morning. They leave the Camp Nou at 9.15 for El Prat airport, where a flight will be waiting for them at 10.00. They should be touching down in Asturias at about 11.30.
