Cold and windy training

Sandra Sarmiento / Anna Segura

Barça’s training session on Friday was affected by the cold weather conditions in the Ciutat Contal as the wind ensured that the players had to be well wrapped up before taking to the pitch.

The Blaurgana stars worked at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper the day after being watched by around 7,000 fans in the Miniestadi. In stark contrast coach Pep Guardiola only allowed the media to watch the first 15 minutes of the penultimate session before the game against Tenerife on Sunday.

Hats and gloves

Others such as Gerard Piqué, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Bojan Krkic wore gloves and woolly hats.

Jonathan, Vázquez, Thiago and Gay were promoted from the youth ranks once again to join in with the first team squad and continue their learning process.
