Training with 21 present

Víctor Sánchez was the only player not to have reported for first team training on Friday as he was recalled by Barça Atlètic and was not part of the 21-man session taken by Pep Guardiola.

Éric Abidal was given the green light to return to action and that meant that only Sánchez was absent as he was asked to train with the second string by Luis Enqrique after playing for them last weekend. The rest of the Blaugrana players donned MÉS t-shirts and continued their preparations for the visit of Valencia on Saturday.

Training on Saturday

The squad will train on the day of the game, at 12:00 CET, as is normal for home games while Guardiola will organise and continue to tweak things until just hours before the game is due to start. That is also when the Barça coach will name his 18-man squad for the encounter.

Barça play Valencia on Saturday at 22:00 CET (live on TV3, La Sexta and R@dio Barça).
