The LFP has announced that the game between Málaga and FC Barcelona, the ninth of the current league campaign, will be played on Saturday November 1st at 20.00.

The first team knows when they will be facing Málaga at La Rosaleda. It will be on the first day of November and will start at eight in the evening. Málaga v Barça is one of several games being brought forward to Saturday, the others being Athlétic v Villarreal, Atlético Madrid v Mallorca and Valencia v Racing.

Plenty in store

Pep Guardiola’s side will play this game shortly after kicking off their Copa del Rey campaign on Tuesday October 28 in Benidorm. Once the Málaga game is over, it will be time to start thinking about the Champions League against, with Basels’s return visit to the Camp Nou on November 4, the fourth game of the group stages.

Three home games in a row

The Basel match will be the first of three consecutive games in which FC Barcelona will enjoy home advantage. The following weekend the game will be Barça v Valladolid, in the League, and then on Wednesday 12 they have the second leg of their Copa del Rey encounter with Benidorm.
