Bojan: “Scoring is always pleasing”

Bojan Krkic was delighted after netting twice against FC Basel on Wednesday evening. “Everyone likes to score,” he said. “The squad congratulated me and scoring is always pleasing.”

The young striker was one of the stars of the Blaugrana’s 5-0 triumph in the Champions League in Switzerland and gave his thoughts after the match that saw three players, Sergio Busquets, Martín Cáceres and Víctor Sánchez, make their debuts in the competition for the club.

Sergio Busquets

“We have placed a great game and I was able to help. I am very happy.”

“I have dedicated my performance to my grandfather.”

“I am young and I still have a lot to learn. I will continue to go slowly and will keep working hard.”

“I am used to being fouled because they are part of the game.”

“I feel comfortable in both positions. I played more in an attacking role when I was younger, but I can also play as a defensive midfielder. I am equally happy in both and will play where the coach tells me.”

“It has been a great game and we have scored a lot of goals. We you score a lot you enjoy the game more.”

“In the two previous games I did not play. It has been a dream to start and I scored a goal, which will thrill me for some time to come as I do not score many.”

Messi

“These games are never easy. We have worked hard and found a high rhythm of play.”

“It is most important that the team played well, at a quick pace, and that makes everything easier for me and the other forwards.”

“The next objective is our league game at the weekend and to continue moving up the table. We know what we want and we play for that in every game. We never presume anything.”

“From the start we have looked to score and we have scored the first goal very early on. From then on it has been a lot easier and we have played a great game.”

Cáceres
