Six first teamers, five reserves at training

The team is back in action with the same six squad members as last week and the addition of reserve team players Oier, Verdés, Fontás, Rueda and Nolito.

When the international players return Barça will be back to business as usual, but this Monday Pep Guardiola still only had six first-team squad members to call on for this afternoon’s training at La Masía: Víctor Valdés, Pinto, Jorquera, Víctor Sánchez, Sylvinho and Hleb. As was the case last Thursday the Byelorussian striker trained just like the rest of the squad.

After playing keep-ball, the four keepers worked apart with goalkeeping coach Carles Busquets, standing in for Juan Carlos Unzué who was away for personal reasons.

Pedro, who picked up an injury last Wednesday when training with Spain’s under-21 side, continued his recovery programme in the gym.
