Pedro back in Barcelona

FC Barcelona striker Pedro Rodríguez has suffered an injury in training for the Spanish Under 21 squad and returns to Barcelona on Thursday so that club doctors can examine the extent of the injury.

Pedro Rodríguez suffered a muscular injury in an isquiotibial while training with the Under 21s in Lorca (Murcia). On Thursday the medical experts at the Camp Nou will be able to announce their verdict and offer more details about how seriously the injury will affect the player.

One of four

Pedro was one of the four FC Barcelona players selected in the squad to face back to back games with Switzerland. The others are Bojan Krkic, Sergio Busquets and Gerard Piqué.
