FC Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola has picked all 21 players he has available for the game with Atlético Madrid. He will have to drop three names shortly before kick off.

With the exception of Víctor Sánchez, who cannot play due to suspension following a red card playing for Barça Atlètic, and the injured Hleb and Milito, all of the Barça players have been selected for the game against Atlético Madrid at the Camp Nou.

As only 18 players can be in the official squad, Guardiola will have to send three players to the stands before the game starts.

Gathered at home

Barça will follow the same routine as that prior to last week’s derby with Espanyol. After training behind closed doors on Saturday at 12.00, the players will have lunch at the Camp Nou and then go home for some rest.

At 20.15 they will be expected to report back to the Camp Nou in time for the game with their visitors from Madrid.

The squad

So the squad for tonight’s game will be taken from the following list of names: Valdés, Alves, Márquez, Piqué, Puyol, Touré, Keita, Xavi, Henry, Eto'o, Iniesta, Pinto, Cáceres, Sergio Busquets, Gudjohnsen, Bojan, Messi, Abidal, Pedro, Sylvinho and Jorquera.

Jorquera trains alone
While the whole squad had a light session in the Camp Nou, Albert Jorquera trained at La Masia with goalkeepers coach, Juan Carlos Unzué. The Catalan stopper has been given the medical all-clear but used this Saturday for specific individual work.
