Piqué: “This win was a real team performance”

The FC Barcelona players felt that the victory that they obtained in the Estadi Lluís Companys was achieved because they played like “a team”, according to Gerard Piqué.

After the derby encounter, the Blaugrana players showed that they were proud of the win against Espanyol and the manner I which it was achieved after they came from a goal behind and showed real character. That was a key, according to the squad.

Víctor Valdés:

“Barça deserved to win at all times”.

“It was a game in which we had a lot of chances and in the dressing room we were all very pleased”.

“For the first goal they fouled me and the referee did not whistle”.

“We had to come back and, luckily, we were able to do that”.
