Alves: “I’m used to being under pressure”

The Brazilian full back isn’t worried about changing clubs and is relishing the challenge. “I signed for Barça because I loved what they are doing,” he said.

On a first day at work that began with medical tests in the morning, Dani Alves appeared at a press conference at Camp Nou to speak about his move. “It’s been very good and it’s important to be in a side with fantastic players,” he said. “I hope the spirit we have now stays with us right until the end.”

Hungry for titles

Alves is anxious to play a key role in the side: “I’m used to being under pressure, and here I have a bit more, but it’s always going to be there and you have to get used to it”

“I signed for Barça because I loved what they are doing,” he added. “I’d love to win more titles, especially those that I haven’t won yet.”

Memories of Seville

No shirt number preferences
When asked whether he’d like the number 10 which Ronaldinho has just vacated, Dani Alves said that he wasn’t that concerned about his shirt number as it wasn’t really high on his list of priorities.
