Bojan:" Winning 2-6 was big"

Marc Guillen/David Puig

Bojan Krkic is still coming to terms with all the emotions that he has felt in what has been a memorable season for both him and FC Barceona as he helped the club to an unprecedented treble of domestic title and Copa along with the Champions League.

The young striker admits that he feels privileged at just 18, and in only his second season with the Blaugrana, to have helped the club to such an historic achievement and to have been a part of the team that beat Real Madrid 2-6 in the Santiago Bernabéu. "It has been an unforgettable season," he said. "We have made history. We are the first team in the Spanish league to win the treble and all the celebrations that we have enjoyed over the past few days have been the reward for a very hard-working season."

A dream come true

"The treble did seem unthinkable, but when we won the Copa del Rey and then secured the league, we were conscious that it could be done," he continued. "When Messi scored the second goal in Rome we went through some incredibly high emotions and yet I still realised that we were going to win our third trophy of the season."

Real Madrid memories

"That was very significant because of everything that happened last season. The 2-6 was big in the league with so few games of the season remaining," he added.
