Break until Wednesday

The first team won’t be back training until Wednesday evening when they will start gearing up for their League clash with Malaga before the break for international action.

After Barça’s fine win away at Almeria on Sunday, Pep Guardiola gave his players two days off. They will be back at work in Wednesday at 6 pm at the Ciudad Deportiva facility. Afterwards Eidur Gudjohnsen is set to give a press conference.

Wednesday will see the first of four sessions prior to next Sunday’s clash with Malaga in the League at 7 pm. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday the players will train in the morning at Sant Joan Despí, while on Sunday they will train at Camp Nou.

International break

After the Malaga game the League will be temporarily suspended for international games and there will be no fixtures the following weekend. That means Barça’s next League outing will be on 4 or 5 April away at Valladolid.
