Jorquera, out for up to 10 days

Berta Brau / Jordi Clos

The main absentee from today’s training was keeper Albert Jonquera who picked up ankle ligament damage yesterday and will be out for between seven and ten days.

After Thursday’s gentle warm down session following the Lyon game, today saw a full work out at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper ahead of Sunday’s trip to Almeria. With the exception of Jonquera and the injured Puyol, Abidal and Milito, Guardiola was able to count on a full squad for today’s training. Pedro trained with Barca Athletic ahead of their Sunday lunchtime game with Ibiza at the Mini Estadi.

Busquets in goal!

The session began with the Guardiola giving the group a pep talk and stressing the importance of Sunday’s trip to Almeria.
