Attention turns to Champions League

The squad had some light training at the Masia this morning, as they recovered from last night’s win over Deportivo and prepared for the midweek Champions League game against Stuttgart.

Gentle work out

The B team keeper, Pau, joined the squad who began the session with some warm up and stretching exercises. Milito, Puyol, Sylvinho and Márquez did some jogging before leaving the session early on. The rest of the players involved in last night’s game soon joined them, whilst the other players did some shooting practice.

Abidal and Touré improving

Although Abidal was feeling better after the gastroenteritis that kept him out of last night’s game, he didn’t join the training session and merely did some gym work. Whilst Zambrotta, Henry and Oleguer all worked on their own personal training programmes.

Touré Yaya was again absent though he is expected to be back nearly.
