Eto'o and Deco, the latest additions

After being given the medical thumbs-up, Eto’o and Deco are back in the squad for the game against Depor. Rijkaard can also count on Giovani, Thuram and Sylvinho, who were all out of the last game. Touré, suffering from sinusitis, is the absentee.
Frank Rijkaard is slowly regaining his key players.
Eto’o and Deco are the most notable players to be back in the squad for the game against
Deportivo. Eto’o, out since August 28th, was given the medical thumbs-up last Tuesday, whilst
Deco, injured in the game against Villareal, passed his physical on Friday. Giovani dos Santos,
Thuram and Sylvinho are also back in the squad.
Touré Yaya out
Ivory Coast player Touré Yaya is definitely out of the
squad. He’s suffering from migraines caused by sinusitis, and will be joining the other
absentees: Edmílson, Oleguer and Henry. Santi Ezquerro has not been selected for technical reasons.

The players called up are: Valdés, Jorquera, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Deco,
Márquez, Messi, Milito, Gudjohnsen, Abidal, Zambrotta, Sylvinho, Thuram, Bojan and Giovanni dos
Santos.
