Bojan and Márquez back in training

Berta Brau / Anna Segura

Bojan and Márquez returned to training on Monday afternoon but the squad is still without the majority of the international players.

Bojan Krkic, who on Friday scored the third goal in the Spain under-21 win against Poland under-21, rejoined his club team-mates for training on Monday. Those Barça players that have not been called away on international duty were back at work on Monday after enjoying a free weekend.

Rafa Márquez, who had been absent from training since Wednesday with the permission of the Club, also resumed training on Monday.

Giovani 100%

More good news for Barça fans was the return to full training of young Mexican striker Giovani dos Santos after recovering from a twisted ankle.

He did a number of circuits with and without the ball, focussing on speed and reactions. Another player nearing the end of his injury layoff, Deco, worked out in the gym and then did some jogging on the training grounds.

Circuits for the others

Valdés in Malaga
Víctor Valdés was absent from training today as he is in Malaga for a charity match against poverty. Eidur Gudjohnsen was also due to take part in this match but, finally, both player and the Club judged it wiser for him to continue with his individual training plan.
