Dos Santos happy at Barça

Mexican striker Giovani Dos Santos is delighted to form part of FC Barcelona. “I am from the youth teams and I greatly appreciate everything this club has done for me” he said.
Left sided striker Giovani Dos Santos spoke to the press about what it feels like to form part of the Barça first team squad, and said “it is my first year and I am really satisfied to be able to spend some time on the pitch with such top quality players.”
Plenty of minutes for Giovani
The journalists at the press conference asked Giovani how he
felt about being what seems to be the team’s first choice substitute. “I am really
happy with the faith the boss has shown in me and the time he has given me on the pitch until now.
That’s why I work and train so hard every day, I want to show the manager that I am able to
come on the pitch whenever he needs me.”
Special appreciation for Barça
The 18 year old has been with the club for 5 years and therefore respects everything the club means to him and has no immediate attention of going anywhere else. “I always wanted to stay here and play for the first team. I am from the youth teams and I greatly appreciate everything this club has done for me. Barça has given me everything” said Dos Santos.

Injuries
The Barça player is as alarmed as anybody by the current spate of injuries affecting the side. He
said “injuries are difficult for the whole team. It is sad, because we are missing such top
quality players, but at the time we have more players that are able to cover for the injuries. I
hope they all get fit again as quickly as possible.”
