Eusebio: “We’ve shown our professionalism”

Eusebio Sacristán appeared in the press conference to give his view on the last game on the season. “We’ve shown our professionalism”, he stated.

Once again, the Barça coach has passed on his press conference duties to one of his aides, Eusebio Sacristán, who gave his view on the last game on the season. He expressed his satisfaction at the players’ attitude against Murcia: “It was difficult to find motivation for today, but we’ve shown our professionalism”.

“The club has to keep to the same philosophy”

On the club’s future with Pep Guardiola at the helm, Eusebio believed that the club shouldn’t make any brusque changes. They should keep to the same philosophy. It’s never a good idea to change everything”.

Congratulations to Giovani

Eusebio went on to congratulate Giovani dos Santos on his hat-trick: “We’re very happy for him. It’s a good reward for a lad who’s always been a model of good behaviour. He deserves it”.

Ready for new challenges

Finally, Eusebio expressed his “great satisfaction” with his two spells at the club, both as a player and as a member of the coaching staff. “I’m ready to move on, face new challenges. Obviously this hasn’t been the ending I had wanted, but I feel privileged to have both played and coached here”.
