Ronaldinho trains with the squad

After the win against Schalke, the first team went back to training on Wednesday. Ronaldinho was involved in the workout but Milito and Touré stayed behind to do recovery work in the gym.

Frank Rijkaard’s side landed at midday at El Prat airport on a flight from Germany and went straight to the Camp Nou for a recuperation session. Two of the players that started against Schalke, Milito and Touré Yaya, stayed in the gym to do specific work, while Ronaldinho joined the other players on the park. Deco, who trained normally on Sunday, also took part.

Gentle run

The players that stayed behind worked on fitness and changes of pace. Pinto then took his place between the posts as they all practiced crosses and shots on goal. They then went through a series of similar drills, all of which also culminated with goal attempts.
