From the airport to the training ground

The players landed back in Barcelona at midday on Thursday and went straight to the Camp Nou for a training session.

The session started at about 3 pm shortly after the Barça party had arrived back at El Prat airport in Barcelona. Training focussed on warming down after the win against Celtic.

Márquez stays in gym

Barça B goalkeeper, Oier Olazábal, was also on hand to work out with goalkeeping coach Juan Carlos Unzué.

Shorter session for starting eleven

210208entreno_x7x.jpgThe eleven players that started last night’s match at Celtic Park were treated to a light recovery session. Abidal, Ronaldinho, Puyol, Iniesta, Milito, Messi, Deco, Touré and Henry warmed up with the rest of the squad and then did some jogging before returning to the dressing rooms.

Training match

The rest of the players continued with some ball control and passing exercises. The session ended with a training match on a reduced pitch. With the orange bibs - Xavi, Zambrotta, Edmílson, Eto'o, Valdés and recovery coach Albert Roca. Without bibs - Sylvinho, Giovani, Bojan, Gudjohnsen, Thuram and Pinto.
