Calendar for the 2007-08 season

The opening games of the new league season will take place on the weekend of 25th and 26th of August. The league programme will finish on 18th May while the final of the Spanish Cup will be played on 16th April.
At a meeting held this Wednesday at the headquarters of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LFP) it was decided that the league programme would begin and end on 25th August and 18th May respectively, while the final of the Spanish Cup will be held on 16th April. The winter break will be delayed so that matches can be played on 23rd December.

In addition, Wednesdays will be used for league matches, Cup ties, European competitions and international matches. All Wednesday’s during the season have been fully booked up.
