Ronaldinho appeal to go to Disciplinary Committee

Next week, FC Barcelona will be appealing to the Spanish Committee of Sports Discipline for the one-match ban issued to Ronaldinho to be rescinded.

The club has already presented its case to the Appeals Committee with respect to the red card shown to player in the game against Getafe. On Thursday, said Committee announced that it would not be modifying its decision to ban the Brazilian for one match despite the club’s appeal.

FC Barcelona will therefore be resorting to the next stage of the procedure, an appeal next week to the Committee of Sports Discipline, in the hope that Ronaldinho will be allowed to appear in the derby at home to Espanyol, the team’s penultimate match of the present league campaign.
