Argentina and Algeria will be meeting in an international friendly at the Camp Nou on June 5. The day after, Peru and Ecuador play in the Miniestadi.

Two years after they were in town to face the Catalan national side, Argentina return to the Camp Nou, this time to take on Algeria in a friendly. This is the second match Alfio Basile’s side will be playing in Europe this week, coming four days after an encounter with Switzerland in Basle. The stars in the Argentina squad include Barça’s own Leo Messi and Javier Saviola, along with several other regular faces from the Spanish league.

A day after, two more South American sides will be continuing their Copa America preparations in the city as Peru and Ecuador go head to head at the Miniestadi. Ecuador appeared in the Mini in front of 6,000 spectators on November 13, 2005 against Poland in a warm up match ahead of the World Cup in Germany.
