Márquez out for fifteen days

Rafa Márquez has injured his right leg again and following tests on Tuesday it has been revealed that he will be out of action for two weeks.

Rafa Márquez was training in isolation when he felt a tug on his right thigh when taking a shot on goal. As a result, the Mexican underwent medical tests that have confirmed to the Club Medical Services that he has “suffered a new 2 millimetre rupture around the original scar.” The recovery period is estimated at fifteen days.

Rafa Márquez has been following a special individual programme over the last few days to strengthen the area of damaged muscle in his right leg.
