Deco called up by Portugal

Deco has been named in the Portugal squad by coach Luiz Felipe Scolari for the Euro 2008 qualifier against Belgium on June 2 and for the friendly encounter with Kuwait three days later.
There will be no Spanish league games on the weekend of June 2 and 3 as international matches take precedent, with both qualifiers and friendlies being played. National team bosses are making their squads for those games known and on Tuesday Scolari announced that Deco would be included in the Portugal squad.
Ronaldinho and Edmílson too
Ronaldinho and Edmílson have also been called up by their country as the two players have been included in Brazil's squad for the prestigious friendly against England at the new Wembley Stadium on June 1 and the match with Turkey on June 5.

Over the next few days, more FC Barcelona stars are set to be named by their national teams with France, Italy, Spain, Iceland and Cameroon all have official games, while Argentina and Holland have friendlies arranged.
Out of the cup
None of the players that will appear in the internationals will be included in the semi-final of
the Copa Catalunya by Barça boss Frank Rijkaard. The game between Barça and Gimnàstic takes place
on May 31 in Nou Estadi in Tarragona.
