Low key training session for Deco

There’s light at the end of the tunnel for Deco, who made an appearance at the La Masía training grounds on Thursday morning together with Messi and Santi Ezquerro, two players not selected for the squad to play Getafe.

Exactly a week ago, Deco strained a ligament in his left ankle but today was able to undergo a light training session. In additional to his recuperation exercises, Deco was able to take part in some of the exercises completed by two players not in the squad for tonight’s match, Messi and Ezquerro

Jogging, circuits and shooting

The three players were accompanied by Barça B goalkeeper Rubén. The young keeper was kept pretty busy as, apart from the warm-up, most of the session was taken up by circuits with the ball finished off with shots on goal.

Motta and Márquez

However, Márquez and Motta did not appear on the la Masía pitch as both players are still recovering from their respective injury problems. Thuram was also absent with permission of the Club and will train this afternoon.
