José Edmílson and Thiago Motta have been recalled to the FC Barcelona by Frank Rijkaard for the game against Real Sociedad after being given the green light to play again after recovering from injury.

The Brazilian-born duo have both missed several games after picking up knocks, with Edmílson being sidelined with a thigh injury and Motta out of action due to an ankle problem. Club doctors informed them on Wednesday that they would be fit to travel to Anoeta.

Juliano Belletti is back training with the first team squad, but has not been given the all clear after a muscle injury, while Deco hurt his ankle in a collision with Ludovic Giuly in midweek that has seen him ruled out for a fortnight.

Santi Ezquerro has been rested by Rijkaard.

Private training
