One win more, one game less

The Blaugrana team are with the win which sees them stay top of the Liga, but they are also happy due there being one game less.
After beating Levante, the FC Barcelona players recognised that they are now one game closer to maintaining the Liga title. Despite only grabbing the one goal, they value the three points gained.

“We tried taking a more direct approach to the game, which saw us create many opportunities”.
“Both teams were looking for the victory. But when we took the lead, we were relaxed. In the second half, Levante pushed forward a little more, this allowed our forwards to create more chances. We had chances to finish off the game”.
We have to go into the next game against Real Sociedad focused on playing our game. Our rivals have to do the worrying if we win”.
“It’s great to play 200 games wearing the Barça t-shirt. Above all, it’s the club of your life. But they’re just numbers. I hope that they are accompanied with silverware”.

Laporta optimistic
The Blaugrana president, Joan Laporta, is optimistic following the team’s victory over
Levante. “They won and created many occasions. What’s more important is though we have
won three points, and now we have to go game by game. This team creates many chances and can win
games; this creates optimism”. Joan Laporta also stressed that “we depend on ourselves
and we now have to try and win every game”.
