Edmílson, out for two weeks

Brazilian midfielder José Edmílson is suffering from a muscular injury in his right leg that is set to keep him out of action for the next two weeks.


José Edmílson did not train in Wednesday with his team mates. According to FC Barcelona’s medical services, the Brazilian player is suffering from a muscular injury in the right leg. As a result Edmílson has started a rehabilitation treatment on his muscles to help in his recovery.

It is estimated that the Brazilian will be unavailable to play for the next two weeks.

Without Edmílson

So far this season Edmílson was also out injured midway through the month of October, when he was unable to train during the break in the league (1-15th of October) due to an inflamed right knee. He was also out injured for a week in November. On that occasion he suffered a grade two sprain to his ankle on the 12th of November. He was subsequently given the all clear on the 18th of November.
