Deco will have an operation on Monday
Deco will require an operation this Monday on the injury to his right hand from the game this Saturday against Recreativo.
In the 66th minute the midfielder got injured when he clashed with Aitor and had to be sustituted by Gio. A s we stated after the game, Deco went for tests this Sunday, which have confirmed the need for an operation.
The injury.
The club's medical services have informed us that Deco suffered “sprain to the 3rd finger on his right hand, which requires an operation due to a stress fracture to the upper phalanx”. They continued “Today's tests, in conjunction with the surgeon Dr Xavier Mir, confirm the need for surgery to remove material from a previous injury as well as to repair bone and tendon damage from the present injury.”
Out of the Depor game
Before getting confirmation of the time Deco will be out through injury, we can say that the
midfielder will certainly miss the next league game against Depor. He picked up another yellow card
against Recre and is, therefore, suspended aginst the Galicians.
