Ronaldinho does not have a torn muscular

Tests carried out Ronaldinho this Thursday have ruled out any type of muscular tear. His progress in recovering from the injury will determine his availability for the match against Real Madrid.

The worst case scenario has been ruled out - Ronaldinho does not have any muscular tear on his left thigh. The Brazilian was unable to train with his teammates at the Masia on Thursday and was awaiting medical test results to determine the extent of the injury.

According to the communiqué released by the club’s medical team: “After carrying out the tests (magnetic resonance and scan) we can confirm that the injury is not related to any muscular tear. During Thursday evening and Friday morning Ronaldinho will continue receiving specific treatment both in physiotherapy and on the pitch and following that his progress will be assessed and that will determine his availability for the next game.”

Only missed one
Up to now Ronaldinho has only missed one classic since he joined Barça. It was also his first derby - during the 2003-2004 season. Without the Brazilian on that occasion Barça lost 1-2.
