Following article 30 in the Clubs bylaws, and at the suggestion of the chairman, three new directors have been appointed. They are Jordi Torrent Sala, who joins the marketing and media department; Josep Anton Colomer Guiu, who comes into the finance section; and Maria Helena Fort Cisneros, who will be in the institutional and assets department.

“These appointments are subject to the approval of the next General Assembly of Delegates,” pointed out club chairman Joan Laporta. He added that the date of the Assembly will not be settled until the draw for the qualifying rounds of the Champions League is held on Friday 1 August. However, he hinted that it might be at the end of August.
