11th July: Veterans indoor football tournament at the Palau

Former players of FC Barcelona, AC Milan and Real Madrid will take part in the MSC Cruceros Cup, an indoor football tournament, on 11th July in the Palau. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the victims of the Italian earthquake.

The tournament will feature many illustrious former players of the three clubs.

Match schedule

The tournament, which will start at 6 pm, will have a triangular format of three games lasting 30 minutes each. The schedule is as follows:

First: Real Madrid v AC Milan
Second: FCB v loser of the first match
Third: FCB v winner of the first match

Ticket prices

Tickets for the tournament are priced at 10€ for adults and just 3€ for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at ATMs of the La Caixa savings bank, by phone 902 33 22 11, or at the following website: servicaixa.com

Famous names

The players taking part in the tournament are all former stars – now retired - of Barça, Real Madrid and AC Milan.

The FC Barcelona team of Busquets, Angoy, Milla, Nadal, Sergi Barjuan, Roger, Amor, Bonano, Cembranos, De Quintana, Cuéllar and Carreras will be managed by Òscar Garcia.

AC Milan, who will be managed by Arrigo Sacchi, will feature Baresi, Rossi, Nava, Vierchowod, Evani, Albertini, Eranio, Stroppa, Boban, Ganz, Simone and Di Cani.

Finally, Real Madrid will be managed by Pachín and will feature Buyo, Ramis, Llorente, Alfonso, Amavisca, Karanka, Geni, Iván, Vallina, Juan Maria, Dani, Mesas, Contreras, Rubio and Velasco.
