Laporta interviewed by Al-Jazeera

Joan Laporta has given an interview on Thursday to television channel Al-Jazeera. The main topics were the treble victory and plans for next season.

Lakhdar Berriche, the journalist who typically covers Barça for the station spoke to Laporta in the Palau Blaugrana presidential box, where the Arabian channel had set up a studio. “Barça play great football, and the Arabs enjoy the football played by Guardiola’s side”, said Berriche, who knows all about the everyday goings on at the club.

Special programme on Saturday

The thirty minute interview will go out on June 27 at 9 pm as part of a special feature called ‘Único Barça', which reviews the highlights of the season. “We have been thinking about this programme for some time and now’s the time to show it, just after the treble', explained Berriche.

“Guardiola is the best coach in the world”

Lakhdar Berriche is convinced that one of the main reasons for this year’s success was Pep Guardiola. “His example shows how you can be successful if you plan things well and work hard. Right now, he is the best coach in the world” he said.
