Kaka
Joan Laporta also commented on the signing of Kaka by Real Madrid and criticised the effect it could have on the summer transfer market: “this pushes the market out of orbit. It doesn’t have anything to do with the market conditions and it’s far too risky. It distorts the whole picture” On the other hand, Laporta stressed that such excessive spending wouldn’t affect Barca: “we only have to make a few small changes in the squad – I’m not at all bothered about its effect on us”.
