Nàstic wins Catalan Cup

FC Barcelona was unable to retain their Catalan Cup title, going down 2-1 against Nàstic from Tarragona.

In the semi-finals, Barça saw off Girona by 2-3 after being two goals down in the 65th minute. An own goal by Migue and strikes by Ezquerro and Sylvinho turned the game around.

Nastic come from behind

Just as Barça got to the final by coming from behind, Nastic repeated the feat in the final itself.

Víctor Vázquez had put Barça ahead in the 50th minute but goals by ex-Barça player Pinilla (min. 55) and Maldonado (min. 79) gave the Tarragona outfit their first Catalan Cup.
