Deco and Thuram return to line-up

Both the Portuguese and the French stars have been given the medical all-clear and have been named in Sunday's squad to face Nàstic. Sylvinho and Ezquerro, however, have been left out.

Deco and Thuram come in for Sylvinho and Ezquerro in the Barça team to face Nàstic of Tarragona. Neither player has appeared in the team since the draw with Atlético Madrid before Christmas. Italian Zambrotta, who came on for a few minutes against Alavés is also back for a League match after a long absence.

Recoveries

Deco returns after finally recovering from an injury to his right leg, while Thuram has been cleared after a long absence due to an injury to the femoral biceps of his left leg. Frank Rijkaard has had no doubts about including them for the home match against fellow Catalan outfit Tarragona after both players have missed exactly a month of first team football.
