Jordi Cardoner i Casaus started the series of events associated to the Copa del Rey final by visiting the offices of this association presided by Eliseu Climent. Accompanied by the head director of the Social Commission, Pau Vilanova, the assessor of FC Barcelona and former player Migueli and the Camp Nou announcer, Manel Vich.

The Barça representation, guided by Climent, visited the headquarters of Acció Cultural, in the Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània (OCCC). Here, Cardoner thanked the Valencia and Marina Alta supporters clubs for their commitment. “Thanks to all the Valencian clubs for making us feel so at home. You breathe Barça here and this building is a treasure to have right in the heart of Valencia and represents the efforts of so many people and generations. Apart from the building, you also have a living treasure here, which is my friend Eliseu, who arranges such culture and joy”, said Cardoner.

The vice president then praised the supporters clubs’ commitment once more: “I know it is not easy to belong to a supporters club, especially living so far away from the city of Barcelona and we know it is difficult to defend our colours from so far”.

The Valencia supporters clubs, spoken for by Salva Torres, delegate for València Centre and Marina Alta, also spoke emotionally in memory of Nicolau Casaus, grandfather of the vice president of FC Barcelona.
