Masoliver puts Vic on road to Supercopa (4-1)

Sònia de Alba

Barça Sorli Discau lost away to Vic 4-1 in the first leg of the Spanish roller hockey Supercopa, which is a result they will have to turn round in the second leg at the Palau Blaugrana next weekend.

Two goals from Miquel Masoliver were enough to sentence the first leg of the Spanish roller hockey Supercopa. With a 1-1 draw at half time, a plucky goal from the ex-Barca player Masoliver inspired his new side to go on to win 4-1, with Masoliver himself going on to get another in the 46th minute.

It was a great game, despite the uncertainty among the crowd over the new rules, and Miquel Masoliver was given a warm reception from the home crowd.

The Barca side was accompanied by club vice-president Jaume Ferrer, together with the club’s head of roller hockey Jordi Torrent, as well as other members of the sporting and social commission. Carmelo Paniagua of the Spanish Skating Federation presided over the game.
