Champions ahead of Saturday’s game

Barça Sorli Discau took their 13th consecutive league title on Friday night, without even playing: with two games left to play, Liceo’s 6-5 defeat at Reus means Barca are already mathematically champions ahead of Saturday’s home game with Alcoi

Liceo’s game had been brought forward to Friday and their defeat handed the title to Ferran Pujalte’s team, who can now look forward to a double celebration of their domestic and European titles after the game against Alcoi at the Palau on Saturday.

It’s Barca’s 13th consecutive title and comes just six days after they conquered the European Cup in Valdagno.
