Bar�a Sorli Discau won their third trophy of the season as they beat Cemex Tenerife to win the Copa Continental in some style.

The game between the champions of the European competitions from the 2007-08 campaign was hard fought and the Blaurgana were able to clinch the cup.

Sergi Panadero and Alberto Borreg�n gave the home side a commanding lead with first-half goals and after Xavi Costa head reduced the arrears after the break, Borreg�n struck again to net his second and Bar�a’s third of the evening.

It was a game in which Barcelona had to be at their best as the Canary Islanders continued to battle back and it was not until they scored in the second period that the Blaugrana looked comfortable.
