Big win to start the year (36-22)

Verònica Díez

FC Barcelona Borges began the second half of the season with a 36-22 win over Cangas Frigoríficos del Morrazo ina game in which the squad’s younger players made an important contribution.

Xavi Pascual started 2010 by giving Aitor Ariño and Alberto Miralles their debuts and also played youngster Alvaro Ruiz in a game that Barca dominated from start to finish.

Massive lead

Indeed, Barca upped their game even more and were a massive 13 goals ahead -21-8 at half time.

Second half ease up

Four minutes from the end, Albert Rocas stretched the lead to its longest making it 35-19, though he fluffed a late penalty, taking the shot after full time had been blown.
