Narrow win for the reserves (0-1)

Barça Atlètic scored in the opening minute against Logroñés and dominated the rest of the match but failed to confirm their superiority with more goals.

Barça Atlètic couldn’t have started better. Nolito crossed from the right for Elvis to head into the net in the very first minute of the game (0-1).

Plenty of chances for the second

Logroñés struggled to bring the ball out from defence in a controlled fashion and the chances continued to present themselves. Elvis could have doubled his tally in the 40th and almost immediately afterwards Sergi Roberto went past a number of defenders but failed to beat he visiting goalkeeper.

Second half stroll

Barça Atlètic continued to dominate throughout the second half while Logroñés could only resort to some over-tough tackling. In the 65th, Edu suffered a crunching foul from José Mari, which earned the local player a yellow card.

This was the reserves’ second consecutive league victory and leaves them in 10th place with 11 points.
