Two points dropped (1-1)

www.fcbarcelona.cat

Barça Atlétic let two points slip from their grasp in a game that they should have won as Denia netted a late, late equaliser to take a share of the spoils.

Luis Enrique's team were winning until the 91st minute of the match in the Miniestadi before the visitors beat Miño to draw level and earn a point. Jonathan Soriano had put Barça ahead in the first half from the penalty spot and looked set to be on course for a morale-boosting win.

Soriano nets

The opening goal came in the 31st minute after Elvis d'Aceiton was fouled in the area and Soriano stepped forward and made no mistake from the penalty spot. Keeping possession was something that the home side did well as they looked to mirror the first team in their domination of the midfield.

Jorge levels

For all their time on the ball though, the Blaugrana could not find a way to score a second and it proved costly as Denia levelled matter in second half injury time.

Despite the draw, Barça are growing in stature in la Segunda División B and now have five points to their game.
