2009 has been a busy year at the Nou Camp Stadium, with internal and external improvements and a host of sporting and cultural events at the club‘s home.

Anniversaries, institutional visits and some historic sporting events have all combined to make this an extraordinary year for the stadium.

Historic celebrations

The celebration of the historic treble on 28th May was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the year with the stadium packed full of fans as the whole world watched the party to mark the team’s fantastic achievement in taking the Spanish League and Cup, as well as the Champions League title.

Stadium visits

The Stadium has also confirmed its place as an obligatory stopping off point for tourists to the city, as well as for series of institutional visits from amongst others the Singapore President Sellapan Rama Nathan and the Indian national football team. One of the most popular attractions has proved to be the robot models of Leo Messi and Carles Puyol.
