Nike focus on Barca academy for new ad

Nike’s latest ad is based around Barca’s academy and first team squad, with the tag line “Escriu el futur” - “Write the Future” and follows the progress of a youngster up through the ranks of the club.

The ad opens with images of the youngest players at the club and moves through the various age group teams before focussing on Barca Atletic’s Muniessa and then players like
Bojan, Piqué, Puyol or Messi from the first team.

Hard work and sacrifice

Various players speak off camera describing what it means to wear the Barca shirt, explaining the pride and satisfaction they feel and the hard work and sacrifice they have to put in.

The ad finishes with the text “Escriu el futur” “Write the Future”, illuminate the idea that today’s youngsters will be tomorrow’s stars in the Barca team.
