Barça on Hong Kong TV

17 Chinese journalists have visited the Club’s Sports City at the invitation of Now TV, the Hong Kong channel that holds the rights to the Spanish League. The channel shows all of Barça’s league matches live.


It’s no secret that European club football is gaining in popularity in Asia and the demand to see matches is getting stronger and stronger. Many TV stations in the region are now showing live matches from the main European leagues. The Pay TV station based in Hong Kong, Now TV, has been showing live games from the Spanish League for the past three months.

Time difference
One of the problems about showing Spanish League matches live in the Far East is the time difference. This means that matches are often shown in the middle of the night.
