Puyol backs Play4Africa campaign

The Barça captain donated the ball and his boots used in today’s training session to the campaign ‘Play4Africa’, which arrives at the camp Nou this Saturday.

The Play4Africa campaign supports the right of children in Africa to play through the donations of equipment as well as fighting against malaria, AIDs and contaminated drinking water. The campaign will be featured at Saturday’s Camp Nou match against Getafe.

Donations at the Camp Nou

Anybody who would like to support this excellent cause can do so by giving footballs and/or boots at this Saturday’s match against Getafe. A specially fitted out campaign lorry will be packed in the Camp Nou forecourt to collect the donations. All the equipment collected will be sent to the FC Barcelona Foundation’s XICS centres.
