www.fcbarcelona.cat

FC Barcelona will be able to enjoy meeting at designated areas in Rome on the day of the Champions League final in order to give them zones to aim for in the city.

There will be five one which Barça's supporters that are heading to the Italian capital can go to before the match against Manchester United next Wednesday.

The Fan Zone

RIMG0061.JPGUnlike in Valencia the Fan Zone will not have music and shows going on and will instead be a meeting point for people that need to join up with others or that have become separated. Refreshment stands and toilets will be located in this area close to the Olympic Stadium.

'Barcelona Gathering Point'

The Gathering Point is the zone where the supporters can meet up and then take free buses and coaches to the stadium that will leave every few minutes in order to ensure everyone makes it to the game. This point will be in the Cipro-Aparcamiento Vía Angelo Emo station.

The Infopoint

Located on the road to the stadium, the Infopoint is an information centre set up to give logistic help to fans to try and resolve any problem that they have to tickets or to give information about the city.

The Festival of Champions

ESTADI.jpgStarting on Saturday, May 23, the historic centre of Rome will see a five-day festival of football begin that will include the visit of several high profile guests. Fans from all countries can go to the Arco di Constantino and to the Parque di Colle area. The Festival of Champions will see events taking place both during the day and night.

On Tuesday, for example, there will be stands representing both clubs. Barça's stand will see former forward Hristo Stoichkov visit, while on Wednesday at 2pm there will be an exhibition game with former players participating in the "Ultimate Champions" even such as Frank Rijkaard and Ruud Gullit.

The Olympic Stadium

Copia_de_RIMG0045.JPGThe venue for the game between FC Barcelona and Manchester United will host a final for the fourth time, with this being the second Champions League final held there. With a capacity of 72,689 the stadium was inaugurated in 1938 and was redeveloped in 1953 before hosting the Olympic Games in 1960. A mosaic is being planned by the Barcelona fans and the usual inflatable figures will be in front of the Barça fans during the game.
