Josep-Ignasi Macià, new director

At a Board meeting held in Viella on 27th March, Josep-Ignasi Macià was appointed as a new director of the Club.

Mr Macià has been a member of FC Barcelona since the 1973/74 season. He has been a member of the Social Commission, where he enjoyed a close relationship with the Supporters’ clubs. Between 1989 and 1997 he was the president of the Penya Blau-Grana in Vilanova de Bellpuig (Pla d'Urgell), the town where he was born on 24th July 1961.

Josep-Ignasi Macià, member number 19143 of FC Barcelona, has worked for the Caixa d’Estalvis de Sabadell savings bank since 1985.
